Mortal Lessons is a “medical oratorio” by composer and Switchboard Festival co-founder Ryan Brown for vocal quartet (S, Ct, T, Ba), percussion quartet, two keyboards, and electronics on a text by Richard Selzer. It is the completion of a three year project, and will be premiered in its final 60 minute version on the San Francisco Conservatory’s Hot Air series in February, 2018.
