Virtual Voice Performance Project 3 (VVPP 3) is a free, cohort-based online voice class hosted by the University of North Dakota. Designed for middle- and high-school singers, the program combines live instruction, individualized practice, and emerging technology to support healthy vocal development, artistic curiosity, and reflective learning in a virtual environment.

Meeting weekly during summer 2026, VVPP 3 integrates real-time online instruction with AI-supported practice tools that provide singers with feedback on pitch, tone, and breath. Students work both independently and collaboratively, engaging in guided practice, group check-ins, and structured reflection while connecting with peers across North Dakota and beyond.

As part of UND’s ongoing Virtual Voice Performance Project, VVPP 3 explores how technology can expand access to high-quality voice instruction—particularly for singers who may not have regular access to private lessons or certified voice teachers. The cohort model emphasizes community, experimentation, and agency, inviting students to develop technical foundations while thinking critically about their own learning process and artistic growth.
